Weapons Used During Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham's Assaults in Idlib and Aleppo
In late 2022, Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) conducted multiple attacks on Syrian Arab Army positions. These operations were carried out in Idlib and Aleppo, and the militants employed a range of different weapons.
Idlib
The most frequently used weapons in the attacks carried out in both regions are 7.62x39mm AKM assault rifles. These AKM rifles are also fitted with craft-produced suppressors.
