Weapons of the Islamic State in Turkey

Following the deadly attack on the Crocus City Hall venue in Moscow, in which nearly 150 people were murdered by Islamic State (IS) militants, Turkish security services cracked down on several related cells after it was revealed that some of the perpetrators and/or planners might have been operating in the country. During the raids, Turkish security forces seized several notable small arms. This analysis will focus on weapons discovered during counter-terrorism operations and those used by IS militants in past attacks inside Turkey.
