The Islamic State Khurasan Province’s (ISKP) al-Azaim Foundation for Media Production published the 14th issue of its magazine, Voice of Khurasan, which includes an article titled “America: From the Land of Free to a Banana Republic”. The article opens by criticizing the terms “One World Order,” “First World Countries,” and “Third World Countries”. They note that the last term implies corruption, poverty, illiteracy, injustice, and homelessness, among other features, followed by the familiar argument that any country categorized as “Third World” is in this state due to colonization and enslavement. It is also further argued that the term “human rights” was invented to pave the way for neo-colonialism. The term is manipulated according to the needs of world powers like the US, forgetting about it or using it selectively when it suits the “Power play”. ISKP adds that sometimes they fall into their own trap and accuse themselves of violating “human rights”. Therefore, they are members of the “Third World Countries”. The video highlights the hypocrisy of the West, adding that the US and its allies often fall into their own trap, abusing human rights and behaving the way they describe governments in the “Third World”.
