During the war that began between Iran and the Israeli–U.S. coalition, which later expanded into a broader regional conflict, FPV drones found extensive use on the battlefield. In particular, Hezbollah employed these systems with considerable success, as they played a crucial role in carrying out numerous effective attacks against Israeli forces operating in Lebanon.

In addition to Hezbollah, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq also employed FPV kamikaze drones on several occasions. Although such attacks were relatively limited in number, the group nevertheless carried out a number of strikes against U.S. military bases in the region using these systems.

The Islamic Resistance appears to have used FPV drones for both attack and surveillance purposes. Nearly all drone-related strikes conducted by the group were directed against the U.S. Victory Base in Baghdad. On several occasions, FPV drones were also employed to monitor and observe both the U.S. Embassy and Victory Base.
