Halummu is an Islamic State (IS) aligned translation group that has been active in its current form since 2015/2016. The group acts as a media force multiplier as it specializes in translating official IS materials from Arabic (mostly, though not exclusively) into English — the world’s most-spoken language — allowing such materials to reach a larger global audience.
In the past, Halummu has run its own websites, has created original propaganda, and has performed various other functions within the broader online pro-IS ecosystem and in support of the Islamic State cause.
